The ski day is only suitable for experienced skiers who can ski red slopes safely. (no ski school!)

Please bring your ski equipment, helmet and money for the ski ticket and the refreshment stop.
If you wish to hire your ski equipment, this can be done directly at the valley station on the Hintertux Glacier before the ascent.

Registration and deregistration until 6.00 pm the day before at the reception.

Guided ski days in the Zillertal

Experience unforgettable skiing days in the Zillertal with our private ski guide!
Our guided tours through the ski areas in the Zillertal take place 2 times a week and are perfect for experienced skiers who can safely ski on red slopes. Our experienced ski guide offers insider knowledge and accompanies you on the best runs in the four large ski areas in the Zillertal. Please note, however, that the ski guide is not a ski instructor.
After a wonderful day on the slopes, we offer regenerative after-ski training in the fitness room of our sister hotel MalisGarten, which is located directly opposite DasPosthotel!

Our private ski guide will show you our local ski areas in Zell am Ziller and Mayrhofen. But would you like to get to know the other ski areas in the Zillertal? Then you have the opportunity to book our private ski guide in winter.

Further information and exact dates can be found from the beginning of December to the beginning of April in our weekly program or at any time at the reception.

  • Our guided skiing days take place from early December to early April
  • The guided skiing days according to the weekly program are free for direct bookers
  • You can rent your desired skis in advance at our partner Intersport Strasser, located directly opposite DasPosthotel, or at the valley station of the Zillertal Arena

Ski areas in the Zillertal

We all know that we're not put on this earth to sit in an office chair – and that the body is a musculoskeletal system. That's why it's so much fun to leave that office chair and move around. Among the 544 kilometers of slopes in the Zillertal, for example, one of the largest and most beautiful ski areas in the Alps is right here. The hotel's own shuttle bus will take you comfortably up the mountain so that nothing stands in the way of your skiing fun.
